(ANSA) - Rome, November 28 - National statistics agency Istat said Friday that it expects economic "stagnation" to continue in the fourth quarter of 2014, forecasting zero GDP growth.
It added that the possible range went from -0.2% to +0.2%.
The agency confirmed its estimate that Italy's GDP will end the year 0.3% lower than in 2013. Italy's gross domestic product fell 0.1% in the third quarter with respect to the previous three months and 0.4% compared to the same period in 2013. The national statistics agency said that took recession-battered Italy's GDP down to the level of 2000 after 13 consecutive months without positive growth.
