(ANSA) - Milan, November 21 - Ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi has been released from Milan's San Raffaele hospital after treatment for a long-standing eye condition, ANSA has learned.
The three-time premier and the leader of the opposition centre-right Forza Italia (FI) party was admitted Sunday.
He finished his treatments and was released Thursday night.
Berlusconi's problem with uveitis, or irritation of the eye, prevented him from attending a hearing in a Milan trial for having sex with an alleged underage prostitute known as Ruby last year.
Berlusconi was later acquitted of those charges.
