(ANSA) - Rome, October 31 - Federica Mogherini has resigned
as Italy's minister for foreign affairs and international
cooperation, the foreign ministry in Rome said on Friday. The
41-year-old is poised to become the European Union's new high
representative for foreign affairs and security policy. Premier
Matteo Renzi has not yet announced who will replace Mogherini as
Italian foreign minister.
