(ANSA) - Naples, October 24 - Economy Minister Pier Carlo Padoan on Friday took aim at critics who have accused the Italian government led by Matteo Renzi of being rudderless.
"The government has a financial, industrial, economic political strategy. If someone can't see it, we will try to explain it to them better," said Padoan.
Susanna Camusso, leader of the CGIL trade confederazione on Tuesday said Premier Renzi "finds it's very difficult to translate all his initiatives into results for this country".
Earlier this month, Camusso said Renzi "has no idea where to take the country". The CGIL and other trade unions are organizing strikes in response to labour reforms passed by Renzi and a 36-billion-euro budget for 2015, which contains 18 billion euros in tax cuts and 15 billion euros in spending cuts.
