(ANSA) - Rome, October 24 - Silvio Berlusconi said Friday
that he is certain he will be able to stand in elections again
for his opposition, centre-right Forza Italia (FI) party as he
is upbeat about being able to overturn a tax-fraud conviction
that comes with a ban from public office. "Certainly I will,"
Berlusconi told one of his Mediaset TV channels when asked about
standing again. "I will stand again as soon as this sentence,
the fruit of wicked justice, is cancelled by the European Court
of Human Rights".
