(ANSA) - Rome, October 22 - Ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi
said Wednesday that he is far from bowing out of politics.
"I remain in the field in order to win again...after all
I've done in life, you mustn't think this is how I will make my
exit," the media mogul told Senators from his center-right Forza
Italia (FI) party.
Berlusconi, who lost his Senate seat earlier in the year
after a tax-fraud conviction, said that he intended to
"relaunch" Forza Italia to broaden its scope.
The three-time premier made similar comments during a
televised interview on TG5 Tuesday night.
There, he said Premier Matteo Renzi had borrowed many FI
ideas for the latest Italian budget released last month.
