(ANSA) - New York, September 19 - The Islamic State (ISIS)
fundamentalist militia has made no specific threats against
Italy, Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini said Friday.
"But ISIS is a global threat, and we know this requires a
global, coordinated response," the minister said in New York
ahead of a United Nations General Assembly next week.
Italy will not take part in air strikes against ISIS, but
is mulling providing military training, logistical support, and
perhaps in-flight refueling, Mogherini explained.
"We will not participate in operations such as those being
carried out by the United States and France," the minister said.
