(ANSA) - Rome, Semptember 16 - Italian Premier Matteo Renzi
on Tuesday indirectly spoke out against members of an Italian
delegation that visited North Korea in late August.
"It's particularly easy to talk about unhappy decline if you
go to North Korea to find your way," Renzi said.
Renzi was referring to a recent unofficial trip to Pyongyang
taken by Matteo Salvini, European Parliament Member for the
anti-immigrant Northern League party, and Antonio Razzi, MP for
Berlusconi's Forza Italia party, which the two referred to as a
"mission".
"Those of us who aren't closed up inside buildings and who
go to places in difficulty, like Gela (in Sicily), to places of
pain, are capable of seeing the experiences of those people,"
Renzi said.
