(ANSA) - Rome, September 16 - Italy won't take direct military action in the fight against Islamic State (ISIS) in Iraq, Deputy Foreign Minister Lapo Pistelli said on Tuesday.
Pistelli said military action against ISIS brings "a strong risk of reproducing the Bush war on terror in a new disguise".
Italy is supplying arms to Iraqi Kurdish fighters and aid to Iraq and Syria.
