(ANSA) Rome, September 1 - Italy could save as much as half
a billion euros by slashing public stakes in mixed-capital
companies, spending review czar Carlo Cottarelli said Monday.
As many as 2,000 out of 8,000 existing mixed ventures
could be scrapped, Cottarelli added.
