Ex-premier's appeal to have passport back rejected

(ANSA) - Rome, July 24 - Lazio's Regional Administrative Court (TAR) on Thursday upheld ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi's ban on foreign travel after his definitive conviction for tax fraud last year. The court rejected an appeal from Berlusconi's lawyers for the billionaire to have back his passport, which was confiscated the supreme Court of Cassation upheld the conviction.
