(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 15 - Italy's art cities are set to attract
some 27 million visitors between June and August, up 24.6% on
last year, according to a CST report for Assoturismo presented
in Rome Wednesday.
This would amount to some 5.5 million more presences this year,
it said.
The boom of the lure of Italian art cities' great beauty is
largely due to the return of foreign tourists, the report said.
They should amount to over 17.5 million this summer, 34.6% more
than last summer, it said. (ANSA).
