Rome to bar tour buses by 2019

(ANSA) - Rome, October 12 - Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi on Friday said tour buses would be eliminated from circulating in the city's historic centre starting in January 2019, following a ruling by the Lazio regional administrative court (TAR) that upheld the city government's November 2017 decision to regulate buses. "Our revolution starts in January: safer streets and a more liveable city," Raggi tweeted.
