(ANSA) - Rome, October 9 - Italy's agritourism sector
continued to grow in 2016, ISTAT said on Monday.
The national statistics agency said there were 22,661
agritourism farms (farms licensed to provide accomodation) last
year, 423 more (1.9%) than in 2015.
It said 84% of agritourism farms were located in mountain and
hilly areas.
Agritourism sector grew again in 2016
Increase of 423 farms with respect to 2015
