(ANSA) Rome, March 24 - Rome is the highest-rated Italian destination for appreciation by Tripadvisor travellers followed by Florence and Venice in second and third places, the website said Tuesday.
The Eternal City also places fourth among European destinations on Tripadvisor after Istanbul, Prague and London and is rated eighth globally with Marrakesh, Siem Reap in Cambodia and Istanbul the top three world destinations.
In Italy overall the region of Campania has most top 10 Tripadvisor slots with Sorrento placed 5th, Positano 7th and Naples 9th.
