(ANSA) - Palermo, October 23 - Two Sicilian towns are
sparring over a local delicacy, a pastry called Sfoglio delle
Madonie.
One town, Petralia Soprana, has irked the other, Polizzi
Generosa, by slapping the "DeCo" local-quality label on the
sweet, a cake with tuma cheese, chocolate and cinnamon filling.
Polizzi is threatening to go to court unless Petralia removes
the offending label from the traditional Sicilian culinary
glory.
