(ANSA) Milan, December 19 - United Nations Secretary
General Ban Ki-moon will visit the Milan Expo 2015 in October to
receive the Milan Charter to be signed by countries
participating in the World Fair, Expo commissioner Giuseppe Sala
said Friday.
Events leading up to the signature of the charter, which
binds countries to food and development related objectives, will
start with a debate on January 31.
Agriculture ministers from countries attending Expo are due
to sign the charter June 4 at an international Forum.
