(ANSA) - Milan, October 22 - The Italy Pavilion for Milan
Expo 2015 will be on show at the Slow Food food fair Salone del
Gusto in Turin from Thursday through Monday.
The Italy Pavilion, which will be a major landmark in the
food-themed world fair, has a 40 sq m stand flanking that of the
agriculture ministry. Milan Expo 2015 runs May to October next
year.
"(The Salone del Gusto) is an important occasion to meet
and involve many of the main Italian stakeholders. We will
interview them in an appropriately equipped digital space what
they expect from Expo, how they will be present in Milan in 2015
and how Expo can launch a new development policy for the
national agrifood sector," said Paolo Verri, director exhibit
content and events for the Italy Pavilion.
"We thank Carlo Petrini, Roberto Burdese and all our
Piedmontese friends with whom we are sharing part of the path of
nearing Expo, and we pay our compliments for their new,
extraordinary edition of Terra Madre and Salone del Gusto," said
Cesare Vaciago, managing director of the Italy Pavilion, making
reference to Slow Food's founder and president, respectively.
Terra Madre is a gathering of Slow Food farmers and
operators from around the world that takes place at the Salone
del Gusto once every two years.
