Fedez says he attempted suicide when he was 18

(ANSA) - ROME, APR 9 - Italian rapper and pop star Fedez has revealed that he attempted to take his own life during a troubled period in his teenage years.
    "I attempted suicide when I was 18," Fedez said in an interview with Rai2's Belve programme that will be screened later on Tuesday.
    He said the attempted suicide was linked to drugs he was taking at the time.
    He also spoke about his recent split with influencer and businesswoman Chiara Ferragni and his turbulent relationship with the world of politics in the wide-ranging interview.
    The 34-year-old, who is a cancer survivor, has openly talked in the past about suffering depression. (ANSA).
