(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 16 - Siena's iconic Palio medieval
bareback horse race was put off till Wednesday for bad weather
on Tuesday.
The clay course in Piazza del campo was turned into mud by a
torrential storm.
The Palio of the Assumption, one of two of the races held each
year, was to have been run at 19:15 Tuesday night. (ANSA).
