(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 1 - Singer-songwriter Blanco was the
victim of a sexual assault, just like a woman would have been,
when he was groped by a young female fan onstage lately, Equal
Opportunities Minister Elena Bonetti said Wednesday.
She said the 19-year-old Brescia-born rapcore and pop singer,
whose hits include La canzone nostra and Mi fai impazzire, had
suffered "an injurious gesture with respect to the issue of a
man's body".
"The same gesture by a man on a woman would have been condemned,
and so it is equally right to condemn the abuse of physicality
of a person without their consent".
Bonetti was speaking on popular radio show Un giorno da pecora.
