(ANSA) - Venice, June 11 - Venice's iconic La Fenice Opera
House is set to reopen with the 90th birthday party of historic
opera director, set and costume designer Pier Luigi Pizzi, the
opera house said Thursday.
Superintendent Fortunato Ortombina will interview Pizzi,
"with the declared intention of celebrating one of the most
significant figures of Italian opera, one of the most
affectionate and esteemed friends of the Venetian Theatre", it
said.
