(ANSA) - Rome, April 2 - A 33-year-old Romanian builder who
recently carried out home improvements in the Rome home of
former screen diva Gina Lollobrigida was found with many of her
jewels in his home when police intervened over a domestic
violence case on Wednesday night.
The man told police the 92-year-old former actress had gifted
him the valuables in lieu of payment for his work, a claim
Lollobrigida denied.
