(ANSA) - Napoli, October 1 - Security is getting beefed up at
the Pompeii archaeological site, with new measures coming into
force as of Wednesday evening.
These will see visitors having to pass through one set of
checkpoints and then another, where their bags will be scanned.
Specialised armed guards will be deployed as part of the new
measures.
