Paranza dei bambini up for Golden Bear

(ANSA) - Rome, January 10 - Claudio Giovannesi's 'La paranza dei bambini', a Naples teen gang movie taken from the Roberto Saviano book of the same name, is set to compete for the Golden Bear at the 69th Berlin Film Festival on February 7-17, sources said Thursday.
    La paranza dei bambini is the third novel by Gomorrah writer Saviano and the first to be wholly fictional, albeit based on Naples Camorra mafia teen milieux.
    Matteo Garrone's adaptation of Gomorrah won second prize at Cannes in 2008.
