Lory Del Santo says son killed self

    (ANSA) - Rome, September 20 - Actress Lory Del Santo has told a TV show airing Saturday that her son Loren, 19, killed himself because of a "serious brain pathology" a month ago.
    "His brain died because of a mental collapse," she told Verissimo.
    Del Santo, whose four-year-old son with Eric Clapton, Conor, died in a fall from a New York skyscraper in 1991, said she had decided to take part in VIP Big Brother because "it could be therapy".
