(ANSA) - Pesaro, August 25 - The Rossini Opera festival drew
record crowds and set a new record for takings this year,
officials said Friday.
The festival, which this year marked the 150th anniversary of
Rossini's death, drew 18,300 people and took in 1,393,000 euros,
they said.
