(ANSA) - Rome, February 20 - The culture ministry on Tuesday
unveiled a 600-million-euro plan for Italy's cultural heritage.
Culture Minister Dario Franceschini said the funds would be
immediately available for a major anti-quake plan for Italy's
museums, refurbishing Italy's city peripheries, and the
restoration of a series of sites and works around the country.
"The resources earmarked today," Franceschini said, "are an
important achievement".
