(ANSA) - Rome, October 11 - A 43-year-old French tourist was
fined for taking a moonlit dip in Piazza Navona's famed Fontana
del Moro last night.
She was fined 450 euros.
Authorities have ordered a probe to see if the iconic
16th-century fountain, with its 17th-century statue of a Moor by
Bernini, was damaged.
