(ANSA) - Rome, April n18 - A highly regarded investigative
journalism programme on State broadcaster RAI came into the
firing line for a segment Monday night that appeared to question
the safety of the papilloma virus.
Health Minister Beatrice Lorenzin and the Italian Society of
Virologists accused the programme of "serious disinformation".
But Report presenter and author Sigfrido Ranucci said he had
"never called into question the utility of vaccines" but merely
called for "more transparency and a fight against corruption."
