Head of journalists' guild quits

(ANSA) - Rome, March 16 - The president of the Italian Journalists' Guild, Enzo Iacopino, on Thursday quit telling ANSA he had taken the decision a year ago. "I wanted to complete the course of the media law, and now we are at the implementation phase," he said. Deputy President Santino Franchina will take up the post on an interim basis and will call a council to elect a new president within 15 days.
