(ANSA) - Rome, November 11 - Premier Matteo Renzi on Friday
paid tribute to great Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen,
who has died at the age of 82.
"When he returned to Florence after many years, he gave us
an evening of pure magic in Piazza Santa Croce," Renzi, the
former mayor of Florence, said via Twitter.
"Goodbye to the poetry of Leonard Cohen".
Cohen's hits included Suzanne, Bird on the Wire and I'm
Your Man.
