Film on Oetzi the Iceman in production

(ANSA) - Berlin, September 28 - A movie about Oetzi, Italy's famous Iceman mummy found on the Similaun glacier in 1991, is being filmed in Alto Adige, Austria and Bavaria, said German news agency DPA on Wednesday.
    The international coproduction by German director Felix Randau and provisionally titled 'Iceman - The Legend of Oetzi' is scheduled to hit theatres in winter 2017/18.
    The film features German actor Juergen Vogel, who said the role offered a certain amount of freedom given that "we don't know how Oetzi really lived".
    Vogel said during filming he was made to seem shorter, since the Iceman was only 1.6 m tall.
