(ANSA) - Rome, April 27 - Naples anti-mafia writer Roberto Saviano and the two protagonists of the hit TV series on the Camorra adapted from his book Gomorra, Salvatore Esposito and Marco D'Amore, have made the cover of the next issue of Rolling Stone Italia ahead of the eagerly awaited second season starting next month on Sky Atlantic here, "We had a good time imagining the best Italian V series, Gomorra, as if it was a heavy-metal album: a dark, screaming, ugly world, even more so than Metallica's Kill'Em All, but played by good guys - directors, actors and screenwriters - armed only, as Roberto Saviano says in the interview, by the optimism of reason", said editor-in-chief Giovanni Robertini.
Saviano told the magazine: "In Gomorra the winners are those who don't trust anyone, those who consider others as means to an end.
"The winners are those who aren't afriad of dying and know that power is only obtained by risking one's death. Those who try to protect themselves don't make progress, don't have a chance of succeeding".
Saviano said he "hated" the Camorristi who have forced him to live in 24-hour police protection but he felt compassion when he saw dead bodies left by the Camorra.
