(ANSA) - Venice, April 19 - Italian photographer Fulvio
Roiter died last night in Venice aged 89, his wife Louise Enmbo
told ANSA on Tuesday.
He authored dozens of photography books and his work has
been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in Italy and
Europe.
He won the prestigious Prix Nadar photography prize in
1956.
He was best known for his black-and-white images of his
native Venice as well as his landscapes and architectural and
street photography taken during his extensive travels in Africa
and Europe.
