Major teacher south-north transfers

(ANSA) - Rome, September 2 - The second phase of teacher hirings will mean a major transfer of jobs from south to north, Education Minister Stefania Giannini said Wednesday. "Most of the transfers will be from Sicily to the north, above all Lombardy," she said. Many teachers would also leave Campania for the north and also Lazio, "especially to Rome and the surrounding area," she said.
