Nancy Pelosi hails Expo's Italian touch

Visits Palazzo Italia with Diana Bracco, Bruno Pasquino

(ANSA) - Milan, August 3 - Former US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the minority leader of the House of Representatives, on Monday visited the Milan Expo 2015 world's fair.
    Pelosi - the only woman to have served as US speaker, from 2007 until 2011 - was leading a delegation of 30 members of Congress.
    Her first stopover at the world's fair was Palazzo Italia, where she was welcomed by the general commissioner of Expo, Bruno Pasquino, and the general commissioner of the Italian pavilion, Diana Bracco.
    Pelosi said the world's fair was incredible, praising the ''Italian touch'' behind its beauty.
    Pelosi also visited the US pavilion and Zero pavilion at the fair's entrance that immediately plunges the public into the Expo themes of global nutrition, sustainable agriculture and global cuisines.
