Uffizi unions call off Easter strike

(ANSA) - Florence, March 30 - Trade unions at Florence's Uffizi Gallery and other museums in the Florentine capital on Monday called off a strike on Easter Sunday and Monday after reaching a deal with the culture ministry safeguarding jobs and pay levels.
    Culture Minister Dario Francescini signed the deal with representatives of the Filcams CGIL, Fisascal CISL e Uiltucs Uil groups, the cultural branches of Italy's three biggest trade-union federations.
