(ANSA) - Bari, March 18 - Italian singer Franco Battiato
was dismissed from hospital on Wednesday following surgery on a
fractured thigh bone.
The artist who suffered a fall while performing at Bari's
Petruzzelli Theatre on Tuesday is now his way home to Sicily.
The governor of the Puglia region, Nichi Vendola, paid him
a visit before he was discharged.
