(ANSA) - Milan, December 16 - Scala Aperta. a half-price ticket sales series for twenty opera and ballet performances during 2015 will begin late this month, with the Nutcracker the first event, the famed opera house announced Tuesday.
Half-price tickets will be offered for the January 18 Nutcracker performance, choreographed by Nacho Duato.
Other performances in the deal will include May 17's Turandot, August performances of The Barber of Seville and La Bohème, and Sleeping Beauty in October.
Scala Aperta tickets will be available for box office purchase in person only beginning December 29.
There is no option for purchase via internet.
