(ANSA) - Rome, October 23 - Award-winning short film and
commercial director Lorenzo Sportiello on Thursday presented his
first feature film, Index Zero, at the Rome Film Festival.
The dystopic indie feature film "speaks in a metaphoric way
about what happens today under the eyes of everyone," said
Sportiello.
"We tried to imagine what would happen if the concept of
sustainability was carried to its extreme consequences".
The film depicts a world full of clandestine tunnels,
brutal border police, revolts, Guantanamo-like detention
centres, controlling regimes and general paranoia.
