(ANSA) - Verona, September 15 - Thousands of padlocks that young lovers have attached to the iron gates at Juliet's house in Verona are being removed to avert danger of the gates collapsing, authorities said Monday.
The gates were taken down to facilitate the clean-up which is part of a general removal of "love locks" from monuments around the city of Verona ordered by local police, police said.
