(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 25 - A convicted Italian drug trafficker was denied house arrest in Romania on Monday.
Filippo Mosca, 29, from Caltanissetta in central Sicily, has been imprisoned for 10 months after being sentenced to eight years and three months at first instance for international drug trafficking.
Mosca will remain locked up in the Porta Alba prison in Constanta after Romanian judges confirmed the precautionary measures, rejecting his application for house arrest.
The same fate befell his friend Luca Cammalleri and the Italian girl who had had a package delivered to Mosca's hotel, inside which, instead of cosmetics, the police found 150 grams of drugs. (ANSA).
