(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 13 - A Colombian priest had his license
seized this week after testing positive for cocaine after
crashing his car in Abruzzo.
Don Daniel Arturo Cardenas, parish priest at the noted skiing
resort of Rivisondoli near L'Aquila, drove off the road and
crashed into a guardrail at Santa Brigida on Sunday night,
police said Wednesday.
He as taken to a hospital in Sulmona where he had three stitches
and tested positive for cocaine, whereupon his license was
seized and he was cited for driving while under the influence.
