(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 8 - A 30-year-old Italian man got 21 years
in jail Friday for killing his 31-year-old girlfriend in
northern Italy last year.
Clerk Henrique Cappellari was found guilty of punching and
kicking to death his fiancée Giulia Rigon, a shop assistant from
Asiago, and was sentenced by the court of assizes of Vicenza.
The prosecution, represented by prosecutors Serena Chimichi and
Alessia Grenna, had asked for a life sentence for the man, and
may appeal. (ANSA).
