(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 12 - Italian NAS health and hygiene police
have seized some 46,000 litres of Italian olive oil that did not
comply with health and safety norms, sources said Friday.
The police found irregularities in production in some 256 olive
oil plants across Italy.
Farm Minister Francesco Lollobrigida said "we are fighting fraud
in order to safeguard those who produce according to the norms."
