Rome girl murder victim had stab wounds to chest and neck

Suspect to appear for confirmation of arrest on Saturday

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 30 - Michelle Maria Causo, the Roman minor who was stabbed to death in north Rome on Wednesday, presented at least six wounds inflicted by a kitchen knife to the neck, chest and back, according to preliminary autopsy findings released on Friday.
    The 17-year-old murder suspect is to be heard by a preliminary investigations judge for confirmation of the arrest on Saturday morning.
    He is alleged to have killed the girl in the apartment where he lived in the Primavalle neighbourhood following an argument before leaving her body inside a garbage bag in a shopping trolley next to a trash container.
    He was arrested on Thursday morning.
    Investigators have said the two were not going out and that the victim was not pregnant.
