Woman cited in Ragusa for embezzling over 150,000 euros

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 6 - An Italian carer pocketed her dead client's pension for over 10 years after her death in May 2012, police said after placing the woman under investigation Tuesday.
    Tax police from Ragusa in Sicily established that the woman had taken over 150,000 euros from the bank account of her former employer, an 80-year-old woman.
    The carer has been cited for illegal appropriation of funds.
    As well as signing for the victim's pension, the carer also allegedly embezzled her disability benefit. (ANSA).
