(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 30 - Italian industrial production prices
in April fell by 4.8% on a monthly basis and by 1.5% on an
annual basis, national statistics institute Istat said on
Tuesday.
In the three-month period from February to April industrial
production prices dropped by 7.7%, the stats agency said.
"Sharp declines of electricity and gas supply prices in the
domestic market contribute to the deflationary dynamics,"
explained Istat. (ANSA).
