(ANSA) - ROME, APR 24 - A woman's body was recovered after a
third migrant shipwreck off Lampedusa Monday, local officials
said.
Thirty-six migrants were rescued, including eight women and
three minors, by soldiers of the patrol boat V1300 of the
Guardia di Finanza. The body of the young woman was also
recovered.
The survivors and the girl's body have already been disembarked
at Pier Favarolo. The body was taken to the Cala Pisana cemetery
where the number of coffins rose to seven. (ANSA).
